SAMANTHA FRIEDWALD

Samantha is the Director of Client Relations at Gotham Artists and their newest division Gotham Artists Creative. Strategic creativity and logistics are her specialty; working with people is her passion. 

Before joining GA, Samantha served on the casting team for Gillian Reynolds in Dublin, Ireland where her responsibilities included scheduling, running, and filming auditions for Starz's Camelot, BBC's Primeval, and various commercials for major European brands. Following her tenure in Dublin, Samantha held three internships in Los Angeles while completing a screenwriting program through her alma mater, Boston University.

Her professional experiences prepared her for the rollicking world of live events and speaking engagements. Her casting acumen comes in handy when you are looking for the perfect speaker, but just can't put your finger on who that person should be. Her production background toughened her up as she can handle any task you throw at her and with a great attitude and also helped her hone in her programing and event production skills. And her creativity has served her well in cultivating event programming, which includes everything from talent acquisition to venue booking.

At Gotham she puts all of these skills to use to make sure client and talent needs are met, always going the extra proverbial (and sometimes actual) mile for them. 

Samantha was born and raised in Westchester, New York (which is not upstate) and currently splits her time between Boston and New York. She lives with her husband Colin, and their mischievous Shiba Inu dogs, Lila and Mo.
